A while back I found a pin on Pinterest about creating a sea glass effect on different glass objects. Sadly, I do not remember the original source where I found this pin. Although, I thought it was such an interesting concept that I had to give it a try and see for myself. Featured left is the pin that inspired this project, on the right is the final product of my attempt. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out.
Tips: While I was applying the glue and color mixture, I found that multiple applications created a much richer color. Also, be sure to allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next to prevent smearing of previous coating.
Thank you again! I love projects like this, they are great for weekends and you don’t have to spend a fortune to do them. You can even get the family involved.

I really like how easy this project is and how available the materials used are in the local stores. I want to find old glass in the thrift stores and try this for a few projects! You did a nice job. 🙂
